New Sandbox mode!
Sandbox Mode allows you to build and grow your town as you wish without having to worry about objectives and level restrictions. You can choose four different terrain layouts: Island, Lakes, Rivers and Archipelago, each with their own advantages and disadvantages in regards of zoning and buildable spaces, and a unique color palette for each. In addition to that, you can also customize the number of resources, followers, and size of the map.
Improvements:
- Controller support
- Now when pausing you enter "tactical mode", which gives you a simpler look of workplaces
- Added an icon when a building doesn't have enough resources for production, or natural resources nearby
- Cutscenes for every level
- Performance and bug fixes

像这种建造不同的建筑,使自己追随者变多,然后发展壮大起来。类似这种机制的游戏,我是比较喜欢沙盒类型的。因为它的自由度比较大,不用受太多的束缚,而且制造难度的方法也比较多。
而这款游戏是一个又一个关卡,而不是沙盒游戏。虽然是同样的是生存建造,一个又一个关卡没有太多的自由,通关之后也就什么都没有了。但是它的难度我认为要比沙盒类型的会更高。
比如我们在关卡中需要完成一个必要的任务和一个可选的任务,如果任务在规定天数完成不了,那么游戏就将会失败。而包括追随者的快乐度,食物的供应等等在游戏中也有体现,并且由于游戏是关卡制,为了提升难度,所以谁者在晚上会睡觉是,不工作的。这些条件限制了玩家建造或收集资源的时间。
游戏的建筑以及生产链也是比较完整的,比如玩家需要建造伐木工营地,得到木头才能建造锯木厂,锯木厂锯木头得到木板,用木板和木头来建筑农场,才能得到番茄来满足追随者的食物供应。随着关卡的进行,我们在之后会遇到更多的建筑可以建造,同样的响应的时间可能变长,任务也会变难,游戏的容错率来说比较低,建筑链和生产链一步接着一步,可能在某一个环节出现了错误,就会全盘皆输。
游戏为了提升难度,不仅设置了联系比较紧密的生产链和建筑链,就连你的追随者方面都提升了难度。游戏的机制是一开始只有几名追随者,还有几名孩子,孩子会长大变成可工作的追随者。尤其是在游戏前期,你可能缺少木头或者食物等某个资源,你需要正确的去分配工人来确保你的追随者可以正常生存,比如没有食物他们会饿肚子,从而会被饿死,如果你没有追随者,那任务肯定是完不成,而获得食物也需要提前建造相应的建筑,同样的,你可以选定一个建筑优先建造。
不过我始终认为游戏的一天过的确实是快,尤其是加速过后,规定任务时间虽然长,但相应的追随者的工作效率,我认为也偏低,有时候在白天,需要搬六个单位的木头到建筑场地,而有的时候仅仅只搬了一半的量一天就过去了,而且开了加速感觉白天和黑天都过得非常快,就会突然觉得没什么兴趣,我认为可以使一天的时间变长,或一天时间不变,白天的时间变长,追随者的工作效率高一点,从而规定的任务时间也可以少一点,来在一些简单的关卡里,为玩家节约游戏时间。
虽然不是我最喜欢的沙盒类型的生存建造,但是不得不说这款游戏还是有一定的难度,挑战性也比较强。
